The dancer’s village involves many people, both for its creation and for its being filled with life and love and being enjoyed.
Initiator
André has been breeding the vision of a Dancers’ village for a decade and longer. He lived an intense life in several countries, since a severe sickness at the age of fifteen following a genuine awakening. He unites broad experiences, in therapies, coaching and consciousness work, as a successful business professional, with a PhD in Biology/Ecology, as a father of 4 kids, and after 20 years of contact improvisation, he spreads and inspires love and trust around him.
Co-Initiators
Kabiro teaches and practices over 25 years Contact Improvisation, Hawaiian Healing LOMI LOMI Massage, Somatics, Water-Contact, Awareness-Meditation, Trancedance, Couple and Single Counseling and Yoga. She initiated and organizes teams in many different Events and Festivals in Europe and around the world and she initiated the „Sharing Groups“. Daniel is a dedicated researcher and teacher for Somatics, Consciousness Development and Dance, and teaches Contact Improvisation for more than 20 years. His movement, being and teaching is deeply inspired by Body-Mind Centering, Asian Movement Arts, Fascia Research, Somatic Experiencing & Narm. After 15 years in a community project, with his wife Gabriele and their two children, they now live in countryside Germany. Daniel has (co-)initiated many inspirational projects. Read more…
Linda performs, teaches and researches since more than 15 years in various forms of dance, movement and arts. Her love for curious non-judging encounters is evident in her numerous projects with people of all ages. Linda has supported all Dancers’ Village projects so far. Lika is the initiator of a wonderful project in Vale Bacias, and is sharing strong experience and inspiration to the Dancers’ Village project. She also is Initiator for the ‘Studio of Healing Arts’: Massages, painting, singing, dancing, Agua-Hara. Being a Polarity therapist, mother of three sons, and an Artist of life, Lika feels an energetic connection to the landscape.
